Well finally i can put in some noteworthy news about my musical activity. I am very glad to announce that Mezzoforte has finished a new cd. Seven years have passed since Monkey Fields was released and the new one is number eleven since we first put out music in '79.

I am also very happy to say that the new cd is very much in the Mezzoforte style, good grooves and melodys in the forefront.

The members are still the same as in the beginning in '77,

Fridrik Karlsson gtr, Eythor Gunnarsson Keys, Gulli Briem Drums and Johann Asmundsson Bass.

As always there are a few guest artists on the cd.
Saxophone and Percussion players, Brass arranged by Chris Cameron who has worked with the band on many occasions through the years.

On the bassfront there are a few solos and some fretless bass playing.

The band intends to tour as much as possible to promote the new cd and i can confirm a Norwegian tour in September. And other tours and full listings of gigs will be announced on www.mezzoforte.com.
